| Nicholas Brendon's first ambition
was to become a baseball player, but a badly broken arm meant that
baseball's loss was acting's gain. |

| Brendon's TV debut was in a
Clearasil advert ("not really acting", he said later.) He was
a production assistant on the comedy 'Dave's World', which led to a
guest appeareance in front of the cameras. |

| In television he had a recurring
role on the daytime soap opera 'The Young and the Restless', and starred
in the pilot of 'Secret Lives'. He played an evil corn follower in the
feature film 'Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest'. And on stage, he
has starred in Los Angeles theatre productions of 'The Further
Adventures of Tom Sawyer', 'My Own Private Hollywood' and 'Out of Gas On
Lovers' Leap'. |

| He is slated to appear with
Garrett Wang (Kim in Star Trek: Voyager) in 'Pinata' (still in
production) and the intriguingly-entitled 'Psycho Beach Party'. |

| Nick has an identical twin brother, Kelly (which opens up
all sorts of plot possibilities for 'BTVS', don't you think?). And
here's another funny thing: Nick has a pierced belly button, so he has
to remove some jewellery whenever Xander takes his shirt off. |
